Dr. Anthony Ward
Licensed Psychologist

Hi, I’m Anthony Ward, licensed psychologist specializing in neuropsychological and psychoeducational evaluations, as well as behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches to psychotherapy. During my doctoral training and clinical psychology residency, I focused on neurodevelopmental concerns such as Autism, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities. In addition, I have specialized training in neuropsychological evaluations with adults. My therapeutic practice emphasizes behavioral and cognitive-behavioral approaches.
I completed my Master’s degree and Ph.D. at Florida International University in Miami, followed by a clinical internship/residency at the UT Health Science Center in Houston. My post-doctoral fellowship was completed under Dr. Deborah Pearson at the Developmental Neuropsychology Clinic, also at UTHSC. In addition to my clinical training, I have authored and co-authored multiple peer-reviewed scientific articles and presented at several professional conferences. All in all, my main reason for choosing this career path is to help folks access care that will make their lives better. I believe strongly in utilizing evidence-based practices and in connecting with my clients through honest but empathetic communication.
My hobbies include spending time with my amazing family, music (I play drums), and martial arts (though it’s rare that I have time for it these days!).
